Established by two Psychologists and a Psychoanalyst in 1992, the Foundation serves the psychotherapeutic and educational needs of students of A Course in Miracles
. Over the years we’ve offered weekly study groups, workshops, individual and couples therapy (conducted according the principles expressed in Psychotherapy: Purpose, Process and Practice). For the last several years, we’ve also provided individual Enlightenment Training for what the Course
calls Teachers of God
. Our purpose is to increase understanding of the Course, and accelerate the spiritual awakening of those who choose to help others along this path to self-realization.
A California 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation, the Foundation operates on the basis of donations. It’s Board Members serve in a voluntary capacity, although they sometimes receive compensation for their teaching or psychotherapeutic work.
The Foundation is presently operating out of the home of Carolyn Miller, Ph.D., in Western Los Angeles. Our weekly study group, led by her, is held in the homes of members who have volunteered to host it. Enlightenment training is done in Dr. Miller’s home.
